WarmUp Ready for Outreach Keeps Extending

Understand why the "Will be ready for outreach" date keeps extending and what to do about it.

Overview

When you enable WarmUp for an email sender, SalesBlink shows a readiness status on Outreach → Email Senders. Until your sender is ready, you will see a message like "Will be ready for outreach in ~X days". Once all checks pass, the status changes to "Ready for Outreach".

This countdown is not a fixed timer. It is recalculated based on your sender's actual warmup performance. If the date keeps moving forward (or never arrives), it means one or more readiness checks keep failing.

Why the date keeps extending

  • Warmup emails are landing in spam — this is the most common cause. Every time a new warmup email lands in spam, the countdown resets and extends again. As long as spam placement continues, the date will keep moving.
  • Your domain is too new — domains younger than 30 days cannot be marked ready, so the countdown runs until the domain is old enough.
  • Missed warmup days — if warmup emails are not sent consistently on your scheduled days (for example, due to disconnection or an empty schedule), the readiness date is pushed out.
  • Mailbox not receiving warmup emails — if no warmup emails are being received, readiness cannot be confirmed.

The hard truth about weak domains and infrastructure

It is possible that if your domain or infrastructure is weak, then even with a lot of warmup, your mailbox might never be ready for outreach. If your mailbox or domain is blacklisted, has poor infrastructure, or has other setup issues (such as missing SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records), then even if WarmUp stays active for years, SalesBlink may never mark the sender as Ready for Outreach.

Warmup builds on top of your existing reputation. It cannot compensate for a burned or blacklisted domain, missing authentication, a blacklisted IP, or an untrusted email provider.

We highly recommend you check out the best practices below and follow the same before expecting your sender to become ready:

Tip: If your domain is flagged on blacklists or has a damaged reputation, fixing the underlying issue (or starting with a fresh, properly set up domain) is usually faster than waiting for warmup alone. See How to fix Blacklist and Why is WarmUp Blocked for my email sender.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the countdown stop extending on its own?

Only once your warmup emails consistently land in the inbox instead of spam. If the underlying issue (weak domain, missing authentication, blacklist) is not fixed, the date will keep extending.

What is the maximum countdown shown?

The countdown is capped at about 30 days. A sender that stays near the maximum for a long time is a strong sign that the domain or infrastructure needs attention.

My warmup has been enabled for weeks. Should I keep waiting?

If the date keeps extending instead of shrinking, waiting longer rarely helps. If the mailbox is blacklisted or has infrastructure or setup issues, it may never become ready for outreach no matter how long warmup runs, even for years. Follow the best practice guides linked above, verify your domain setup, and consider whether your email provider or domain reputation is the root cause.
